A TORY MP said to have died after a bizarre sex game went wrong may have been the victim of a hit, according to reports. Stephen Milligan was found naked apart from a pair of tights and a bin-liner over his head with an orange segment in his mouth.
An inquest ruled his death as misadventure after a post-mortem examination found that Milligan had died of suffocation.
The coroner found no evidence to suggest that the Eastleigh MP had been murdered or committed suicide. But now The Daily Mail reports how the rising star of the Conservative party may have been the victim of foul play after discovering illegal arms sales. Former businessman Gerald James, whose company Astra was caught up in the Arms to Iraq affair, believes Milligan was murdered.
Astra collapsed after being accused of using a subsidiary to break an embargo to sell weapons that ended-up in the hands of Saddam Hussein. Mr James said: "If he uncovered evidence of a cover up, and was prepared to turn whistle-blower, then I believe the chances of him being killed by the intelligence services were very high.
