I can not stress enough how bad this hotel is. Its dirty it clearly was a good little resort at one point but has now just been ran down into the ground.
Food is horrible again two restaurants however racist set up only Arabic people allowed at the top one and any person who is white has to eat downstairs. Downstairs food not the same and less choices. Male staff just prey on women. There is a self acclaimed Male called Ramsey who is best mates with the owner he has drinking issues and there every night telling everyone he is the boss and fights with the staff. Its unsafe seriosuly avoid at all costs Look at the drinks machine do I need to say more??
Avoid this hotel at all cost. Without doubt the worst I've ever had the misfortune to stay in.. Food not fit for human consumption. Or demolished. Where to begin? I wrote a review last year on google. Nothing has changed within the past year, but I just want to write another review as a reminder to myself to not stay here again. The only reason my husband and husband's family stayed here for a second year in a row is because it was nostalgic for us, however, I will not stay here again unless some serious renovating and business restructuring is done.
To clarify, I am an American, and I'm sure the english speakers who are also writing these reviews on how terrible the experience was I could recognize if you stayed between the dates of aug. Last year the pool was very clean, however one of the days the pool was so green and nasty that I didn't dare to go into it. It also came to my attention that there were no lifeguards at the pool. Luckily nobody has drowned from my knowledge. Also the animation team just played the same few songs over and over and they were more annoying than entertaining.
Staff and other young men prowled the hotel and pool for russian women and made the few americans and other Europeans very uncomfortable. One man even approached me after my husband He's Algerian left our table for less than 5 minutes to get me some water, and relentlessly tried to get to know me. I even had to say I was deaf and that didn't even work. It went so far that my husband had to threaten him to stay away. I can't imagine how other women who were alone on holiday must have felt.
