Animals in sisal, or beaded, these trinket boxes are always popular.
Animal and beaded trinket boxes
This is a lovely range of animal trinket boxes, all handmade in Swaziland. There are the African wild animals, such as lions or elephants, but also animals from nearer to home, such as frogs and foxes.
All of them are made of sisal, which is widely grown in Swaziland.
There is also a range of rather more ‘grown up’ beaded boxes, which come in different colours and various sizes.
