I'm surprised this is not known and it is recommended by lonely planet as this place survives by using the run down huts as a place for truckies to have sex with prostitutes.
No wifi, literally tiny piece of overgrown grass for 3 vans max. We found this camp site through a Lonely Planet recommendation as it appeared to be the closest campsite to the city centre and was their recommended camp site in Plovdiv.
About 30 seconds after arriving we realised that we were going to have to find a hotel instead- the place was very rundown and badly in need of a coat of paint not in itself a problem but nonetheless a bad omen overrun with feral dogs and appeared to be being used as a pallet dump.
The only person present spoke not a word of English and appeared to have no idea that it was a camp site. As we did a U turn and left, one of the feral dogs hung off our rear wheel arch by its teeth there are still marks now!! This is not a sensible place to stay! Profile JOIN.
