Dog collars and leads
Beaded leather dog collars and leads
Why not give your dog a treat and get him or her one of these handmade leather dog collars and leads, hand sewn with beads?
These are all made by the Maasai people of Kenya, who are known for their fabulous beadwork. They wear many necklaces and earrings of seed beads, and so decided to start catering for our dogs as well! Look at the stunning results made for Bazaar Africa.
Each of these dog collars and leads is handmade, the beads being stitched onto leather, and then covered at the back to make them comfy. They all come with strong metal accessories, and measurements are given.
A large range of sizes from 10″ to 25″ available.
Mostly these come in bold geometric designs, in a variety of colours
MEASUREMENTS
Each dog collar is measured from the prong of the buckle to the FIRST hole, i.e. the shortest length possible on each dog collar. This is the first measurement. The second measurement, is to the last hole, so the longest possible length. Therefore, you would need to measure your existing dog collar, and probably buy one somewhere between these two lengths, to allow room for growth.
