“Welcome to Bazaar Africa”
Our shop is dedicated to hand crafted and hand made African products.
Bazaar Africa’s ethic is to try and aid and enable African people to achieve a better standard of living, as well as pride in what they produce, through their native arts and crafts.
The shop carries a wide range of jewellery products from the Zulu and Maasai tribes. And when it comes to beads… we have bead handled cutlery and wooden salad servers, keyrings and animals.
There is hand-painted papier maché from eSwatini, in vibrant colours and designs and crazy but fun animals made from recycled flip-flops!
We also stock the famous Kazuri range of brightly coloured and diverse shaped handmade ceramic bead jewellery. So why don’t you pop in and have a browse? We hope you enjoy looking our products and gifts – there’s really something for everybody.
All items are personally sourced. Many come from small co-operatives of single mothers or those affected by HIV and other diseases, assisting them to make a fair, independent and decent living. The majority of items are from Kenya and South Africa, but some also come from Zimbabwe, Zambia and eSwatini*.
